A wine weekend in Valdepeñas
Discover Valdepeñas in depth and surround yourself with the aromas and sensations of the wine capital of La Mancha. The ultimate wine weekend.
Day 1:
• 12.30 pm: Complete guided tour of the DIONISOS winery. A weekend of wine and wine culture where you can learn about, enjoy and appreciate the art of wine production in a family-run winery against the backdrop of Valdepeñas, a town with a rich wine-producing tradition. This will be a very different weekend, where our senses and emotions will be moved by the rhythm of agricultural tranquillity, the stillness of the traditional earthenware wine jars and the silence of the cave. We will begin with a complete guided tour of the winery and its facilities.
• 14:00 pm: We will then taste 5 different wines – white, young red, young barrel matured red, classic and
prepared based on the cycle of the moon and constellations. Each of the wines will be accompanied by an appropriate appetizer, which will highlight the properties of each.

• 14:30 pm: Traditional lunch at the winery with local dishes from La Mancha and Don Quixote.
• A free afternoon to get to know Valdepeñas, “the city of Wine” with its wine culture and atmosphere, and its traditional tapas bars.
• Accommodation is at the 3 star Rural Hotel “La Venta de las Estrellas”, located on the estate of the “El Conuco” vineyard.
This peaceful and evocative place with its traditional local architecture offers accommodation, a dining hall and activity areas linked to wine, organic agriculture and nature.
The green of the vineyards, the magnificent sunsets and the local winemaking customs provide the perfect setting for relaxing and immersing yourself in the culture of wine.
Day 2:
• 10:00 pm: Breakfast and check-out
