Scheduled Routes

Day 1:

Check-in. To reach our accommodation, we shall travel to Villanueva de los Infantes, which was once the capital of Campo de Montiel. We shall go to the 3* Rural Hotel La Morada de Juan Vargas, which is located in the historic centre of the town and forms part of a 16th Century house.

Day 2: 

Breakfast.

•    12.30 pm: Guided tour of BODEGAS REAL, a winery located on the Finca Marisánchez estate.  The estate’s country house accommodates a winery that perfectly combines tradition and modernity. It is a truly enchanting location.
The winery and vineyards, the beauty of the surroundings, the landscape and nature to be observed on this tour make for a complete awakening of the senses. After the tour, we shall taste two of its famous wines (one white and one red).

•     2.30 pm: We shall have lunch at the 4-fork rated winery restaurant, “El Umbráculo”. We shall enjoy a typically Manchegan menu accompanied by wines from the estate.

Day 3:

•    Breakfast and check-out

•    11.00 am: Guided tour of the town, where we shall be able to admire the architectural wonders of the Plaza Mayor (main square), the palatial homes conserved to the present day, as well as the churches and remaining buildings of cultural and historic interest that Villanueva de los Infantes has to offer.

THE PROGRAMME INCLUDES:

-    Complete tour of the winery with tasting of 2 wines
-    Lunch at the winery restaurant on the second day
-    2 night’s accommodation in a double bedroom at the 3* Rural Hotel, La Morada de Juan Vargas
