A unique spot in the middle of nature and a meeting point between Castille-La Mancha and the Mediterranean Levante.

The wide valley in which Finca Casa Alarcón is located, configured by the precipitous Sierra del Cuchillo and Sierra Oliva, in the municipality of Caudete (Albacete), enjoys a particular microclimate characterised by the dry and severe climate of La Mancha and the influence of the Mediterranean. An ideal space of 850 hectares for the traditional cultivation of vines, olive groves and pasture, for the rearing of sheep from La Mancha, and the maintenace of a group of horses of a pure Spanish race.

The winery rises from this frame, with 90 hectares of vineyard growing at its feet, in which they cultivate with great care, under an integrated production system, Spanish varieties such as tempranillo and the autochthonous monastrell, and French varieties which have adapted optimally: syrah, petit verdot, merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and the white chardonnay, viognier and sauvignon blanc. With them, wines of a Mediterranean profile and carefully measured aging times are elaborated. The wide range of varieties

composing the vineyard allows to bottle single variety wines or to design coupajes. “Our enthusiasm for achieving wines with their own personality guides us, always keeping the particularities of each variety of grape, and reflecting the character of our ground and our peculiar microclimate”, they say in the winery.

In Finca Casa Alarcón they understand the wine, the oil and the cheese as a symbol of the culture and tradition from La Mancha and the Mediterranean. That is why their offer of leisure and wine tourism is designed to expand and share their knowledge and the passion with which they work daily. They offer guided tours to their facilities, to the vineyard and olive grove, and commented wine tastings of their products, together with visits to the group of horses, and with the possibility of enjoying a drive in a horse

cart. The visit can culminate in the restaurant, with amazing views of the vineyard, in which you can taste the traditional gastronomy of La Mancha elaborated with natural ingredients coming from the estate. It also has spaces which ensure the ideal atmosphere for social or family celebrations.
