Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle belongs to the reputed wine groupGrupoBodegasOlarra. The expansion that is taking place on national and foreign markets encouraged them to bring their excellent way of doing things to this region, which has tremendous viniculture potential. The winery is located in Finca Valdelagua, in the Toledo town of Yepes, with an extension of 250 hectares in which vineyards and olive trees cohabit in perfect harmony. The winery has maintained all the character of the ancient Manchego country manors typical in the Toledo area. Surrounding the winery approximately one hundred hectares of vineyards are to be found, which include the varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The facilities count with the most advanced of technologies and a highly qualified team of experts, the same with the objective of producing wines of the highest quality.

The winery has wagered on the philosophy of Pago wines, legatee of the French Chateaux wine culture. Thus, the winery covers the entire process of wine elaboration, ranging from cultivation of the grape right through to commercialization of the wines. The winery’s representatives explain that at “Casa del Valle they are in search of an association between the composition of the soil, relief of the terrain and the particular microclimate that bestows a singular character on the wine. The idea is to offer unique wines, that capture the personality of the land, attempting to be far removed fromthe homogenization that exists in the viniculture sector”.

Fruit of this philosophy are the exceptionalHacienda Casa del Valle Syrah 2004 and Hacienda Casa del Valle Cabernet Sauvignon 2004, as is likewise the case with the exclusive Finca Valdelagua 2004, result of the best grapes of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah varieties, elaborated under the strictest of technical criteria in modern stainless steel vats with temperature control and aged in new French and American oak casks, which also come from the very best cooperages and of which only 18,000 numbered bottles exist on themarket.
